Yet, More Updates ;)

 

Hey everyone,

So, let’s recap (for those who have been living under a rock)! In December, thousands of you asked my team to build a social network for you.

We built it and launched two months ago – you all came and it was glorious.

Well, it’s still glorious. There’s over 30,000 Imgurians on the site, chatting, getting to know each other, meeting up, and even some hook-ups and dates, as well. 🙂

Update #1 – Autojoin chatrooms

This was a user request. If you’re big on the chatrooms, you can set which room you’d like to join by default by just going into the settings area.

 

Update #2 – Your profile location

Now you can use Google Maps to set your location, making the “Find Imgurian” area much more accurate. Remember: you don’t have to set your exact address, you can just enter the city or state.

 

Update #3 – Images

We’ve added privacy options to images, and you can now also add a description and change the order of how they appear on your profile.

 

Update #3.1 – Imgur integration

We’ve integrated your Ingur gallery, as well, so you can pull images you’ve uploaded onto Imgur. 🙂

 

Update #3.2 – Editing your thumbnail

Loads of you asked to be able to edit your thumbnail, so here it is in all of its glory… TAADDDAAA!

 

Update #4

Minor update, but now your profile doesn’t have a big long list of friends – you can click to see more.

 

Update #5 – Q & A section

Quite a major revamp with the Q & A section – now all of the categories show and you can browse them individually.

Also, comments have been ordered by points, as requested. 🙂

 

Update #6 – Meetup photos

Something else you guys have asked for is the ability to add photos to a Meetup. This week we will also be integrating this so you can post to Imgur.
